At Jagriti Dham, there are accommodation options for single occupancy and double occupancy. We do not allow sharing options with unknown people to give complete privacy to the elders. For elders who are under complete assisted living category, we provide caregivers on an additional charge basis, depending on the doctor’s recommendation and care plans. All rooms are the same size. Some rooms are designed for specially-abled elders (handicap friendly). The security deposit difference is based on the floor choice, temple facing, and backyard lawn facing.

It includes four times food – breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner, laundry services, and all utilities like electricity, air conditioning, daily housekeeping, and water. Common attendants and nurse support are available, along with weekly doctor visits. Access to Jagriti Dham amenities such as the library, AV theatre, conference hall, card rooms, gym, yoga room, and games room is free for all resident elders. What is not included are the medicine charges, hospitalisation charges, and other concierge services. Jagriti Dham has partnerships with leading hospitals, diagnostic centres, pharmacies, and care providers that offer discounts that are fully passed on to the resident elders.

The resident elder’s family members can visit Jagriti Dham anytime with prior intimation. Guest rooms are available on a chargeable basis, which can be offered based on availability. Within the campus, just 10 metres opposite Jagriti Dham, there is IBIZA Resort, which offers room facilities at discounted rates to Jagriti Dham, which may be availed by the resident’s family members. The parking facility is free at Jagriti Dham and there are staff rooms where drivers can get accommodated for a nominal charge.

Jagriti Dham promotes Independent Living. All elders can go out with an intimation to the resident manager. In case there are restrictions by doctors for specific elders, then elders may not be allowed. Jagriti Dham is under 24×7 security surveillance; hence, outsiders are checked before entry into the Jagriti Dham facility. Moreover, the entire 150- acre Merlin Green campus is under a double-gated zone with CCTV surveillance. At times, resident elders who want to visit banks or local markets will receive assistance provided by Jagriti Dham.

Jagriti Dham provides all basic amenities for an elder. The rooms are well furnished with all amenities. Elders have to carry only their clothes and daily items like slippers, shoes, and medicines. Rest all, as needed, can be purchased based on a need basis.

At Jagriti Dham, the team follows a process before onboarding. It is important to get consent from children or immediate guardians of the elders before onboarding. Before onboarding, there are certain medical examinations to be done, which are reviewed by doctors. The care plan is devised based on the examinations. If there are chronic assisted living cases, then more detailed medical examinations are done before onboarding. Understanding the elder is of prime importance; hence, each elder is profiled thoroughly before onboarding. A leave and licence agreement is signed with the resident elder before onboarding, with payment of a 100 percent security deposit and admission fee.

The Jagriti Dham team helps resident elders by taking them to the bank, medical checkups, life certificate submissions, and pension-related work. The charges for anything extra, like travel costs, etc., are to be borne by the resident elder.

There is no lock-in period in the agreement. In case the resident elders do not like to stay at Jagriti Dham, they can exit with 1 month’s notice. Only the one-time admission fee of Rs 5 lakh is non-refundable. Rest 100% security deposit is refundable.

Loneliness is a state of mind and hence Jagriti Dham does not assure a complete solution to loneliness. However, the Jagriti Dham team assures that no elders will be left lonely. The team members are jovial and always take care of the residents with love. There are frequent events and activities organised in Jagriti Dham, which makes the place more special for the resident elders. The environment is surrounded by greenery, which gives opportunities for the residents to lead a peaceful life.

Jagriti Dham’s kitchen is a vegetarian kitchen.. But it does not mean non-vegetarian food is not allowed. Residents can have non-vegetarian food in their rooms. There are specialised providers who cook home-type non-vegetarian food and deliver it to the residents. It is important to note that, as per the doctor’s recommendation, it is not advisable to have non-vegetarian food daily for senior elders. Within the campus, there is a resort that is just 10 metres away, which also has multi-cuisine restaurants that can be accessed by resident elders. Another quick way of getting food is through an online app that delivers food within a few minutes. Elders have strict diet protocols, and curated food can be served and cooked within the Jagriti Dham kitchen.
